Thank you for your interest in participating in the second annual Arizona Chef’s Week Presented by DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS® ! We’re excited to have you consider joining us for year two of this chef-driven culinary event.
As you begin planning your menu, we want to highlight what makes Arizona Chef’s Week different from Arizona Restaurant Week. While Restaurant Week often focuses on guest favorites and signature dishes, Chef’s Week is designed to give chefs the opportunity to showcase creativity, seasonality, and culinary point of view through a more elevated, limited-time dining experience.
Participating restaurants will offer a three-course, prix-fixe menu priced at either $55 or $66 per person. Unlike Restaurant Week, Chef’s Week menus should not simply be built from everyday menu items. Instead, we encourage restaurants to create offerings that feel special to the event — whether that means highlighting seasonal ingredients, introducing chef-inspired dishes, or developing limited-time menu items that guests can only enjoy during Arizona Chef’s Week.
Whether you choose to offer multiple choices per course or a more curated set menu, the goal is to create a menu that feels thoughtful, exciting, and reflective of your restaurant’s culinary identity. If possible, we recommend offering at least two options per course to appeal to a broader audience while still leaving room for creativity and storytelling on the plate.
We also encourage restaurants to consider incorporating a beverage element into the experience. This could be an included cocktail, wine or beer pairing, or an optional add-on beverage featured directly on your Chef’s Week menu. We will have several spirit sponsors participating in this year’s event, and including one of their products can be a great way to add value for diners while helping us recognize the partners who make Arizona Chef’s Week possible.
At its core, Arizona Chef’s Week is about giving chefs and culinary teams a platform to do something a little different — to create a menu that goes beyond the everyday, generates excitement during the summer season, and gives diners a memorable reason to visit.
