Chef Benjamin Graham has spent his life in the kitchen — from his earliest days behind the line to leading some of the Valley’s most beloved restaurants. He first made his mark at Citizen Public House, where he rose through the ranks and ultimately helmed the kitchen, earning a reputation for bold flavors and refined technique.

With the opening of Beginner’s Luck, Chef Graham brings his deep culinary roots and a fresh creative vision to Old Town Scottsdale. His menu is a love letter to the Southwest: a vibrant expression of bold, New American cuisine that’s equal parts comforting and adventurous. Drawing inspiration from local ingredients and global influences, he continues to challenge the expected and create dishes that feel both familiar and entirely new.
