Chef Jamie Ashcraft’s culinary journey began in one of Arizona’s most revered kitchens — Binkley’s — where he sharpened his technique and developed a deep respect for precision, seasonality, and creativity. From there, he joined the team at Citizen Public House, steadily rising through the ranks while refining a style all his own.

At Citizen Public House, Jamie brings a bold, Southwest-forward approach to New American cuisine. His dishes are flavor-driven and spice-kissed, constantly pushing the envelope of what’s familiar. Known for his playful takes and unexpected pairings, Jamie thrives on creating food that excites — both on the palate and on the plate.
