Restaurant Description

Located in Phoenix’s Biltmore neighborhood, The Gladly is a beloved local staple known for its warm hospitality, bold New-American menu, and award-winning beverage program. Whether you’re dressed up for a working lunch or winding down with friends over happy hour, The Gladly transitions effortlessly to fit any occasion.

At the heart of the menu is the world-famous Original Chopped Salad—an iconic dish that’s been imitated far and wide but never truly replicated. Alongside it, you’ll find prime steaks, fresh seafood, and seasonal dishes crafted with care and intention.

With over 350+ whiskies and an expansive cocktail list, the bar is a destination of its own—perfect for aficionados and casual sippers alike. Private dining spaces offer an ideal setting for everything from celebrations to business dinners, all in a space that feels equal parts polished and welcoming.

As part of the In Good Spirits Hospitality family, The Gladly is deeply connected to the Phoenix community—partnering with local farms, supporting small businesses, and serving as a gathering space for all.

Chef Adam Harms discovered his love for the kitchen early on, growing up in the high-energy environment of his father’s fast-paced restaurant. At age 20, he stepped into his first chef-driven kitchen, where he trained under a mentor who introduced him to the power of creativity and the philosophy that “you eat with your eyes first.” That experience sparked a lifelong passion for both culinary artistry and thoughtful presentation.

Afterward, Adam dove headfirst into the demanding world of steakhouses, managing high-volume services with up to 1,200 covers on the weekends. From there, he honed his skills in hotel kitchens, where the open concept allowed him to witness guests' reactions in real-time — something that continues to drive his pursuit of excellence in every dish he creates.

For the past nine years, Adam has led the kitchen at The Gladly, shaping its identity with precision, heart, and a commitment to unforgettable guest experiences.
